Application

These power cables are used for electricity supply in medium voltage installation system. They are well adapted to underground use in industrial application where chemical and mechanical protections are needed.  This group is complying with IEC 60502-2.
 

Design

1. Conductor

Stranded bare copper class 2 acc. to IEC 60228 or equivalent

2. Insulation

Triple extruded Inner semi conductive layer  - Cross Linked Polyethylene 'XLPE' - Outer semi conductive layer

3. Metalic Screen

Copper tape screen 

4. Metal Sheath

Extruded Lead

5. Outer Sheath

Polyvinyl Chloride 'PVC'

 Options :

      - Flame retardant : 'CAT A, CAT B, CATC' to IEC60332 or equivalent.

      - Ozone resistant.

      - Oil resistant.

      - Anti termite.

Sheathing layers can be Halogen Free Flame Retardant "HFFR", or Polyethylene '"PE'


Installation Conditions:

1.Air Temperature : 30 Deg.

2.Ground Temperature : 20 Deg

3.Soil Thermal Resistivity : 1.5 km/w

4.Depth of lay : 0.8 m

 All dimensions have tolerance +-7 %
