Description
Application
These power cables are used for electricity supply in medium voltage installation system. They are well adapted to underground use in industrial application where chemical and mechanical protections are needed. This group is complying with IEC and ADWEA specs.
Design
1. Conductor
Stranded bare copper class 2 acc. to IEC 60228 or equivalent
2. Insulation
Triple extruded Inner semi conductive layer - Cross Linked Polyethylene 'XLPE' - Outer semi conductive layer
3. Metalic Screen
Copper tape screen + Interstice thee copper conductor assembled with the main cores
4. Inner Sheathing or Bedding
Extruded PE
5. Armour
Galvanized Steel Tape Armour "STA"
6. Outer Sheath
Extruded Polyethylene '"PE' with outer semi conductive layer
Installation Conditions:
1.Air Temperature : 30 Deg.
2.Ground Temperature : 20 Deg
3.Soil Thermal Resistivity : 1.5 km/w
4.Depth of lay : 0.8 m
